SUPPORT
Whatever you need — a question, a bug, a feature idea — write a short note and we'll read it.
No — and we wish it could. iOS doesn't let any third-party app reach inside another app to disable a single feature. The best we can do is shield Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc. as a whole, or block specific web addresses (like youtube.com/shorts) in Safari.
On your phone, only. There are no accounts and no servers. If you delete the app, every byte of your usage data is gone with it.
That's how iOS exposes your app usage and pickup counts. Without that permission, Swipecure can't compute your Quality Score or apply shields. We never see this data — Apple's API hands it directly to the on-device extension.
Make sure you granted Screen Time access in Onboarding. Settings → Screen Time → See All App & Website Activity should show usage. If shields aren't applied, open the app once after granting permission so the selection is committed.
Swipecure weighs apps by category (productive vs waste) and combines minutes with pickup count and goal hit. It's not raw screen time — it's a quality measure.
Long-press the app icon → Remove App. iOS removes all local data automatically.
