EFFECTIVE 2 MAY 2026
Swipecure is built so your data never leaves your device. This page tells you exactly what we do and don't do with your information.
Nothing. Swipecure does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. We do not have user accounts. We do not have analytics. We do not have ad SDKs.
The app reads and stores the following data locally, in an iOS App Group sandbox tied to your device:
None of this is uploaded to a server. None of it is shared with us, with Apple, or with any third party.
If you tap "Generate report" in the Insight tab, the app sends an aggregated, anonymous summary of your week (average score, total waste hours, goal hit rate) to Google's Gemini API to write a short reflection. This summary contains no personal identifiers, no app names, and no specific session times — only numeric aggregates.
If you skip this feature, no data leaves your device.
If you grant notification permission, we schedule local-only reminders (e.g. evening reflection at 21:30). These are scheduled by iOS itself and never go through a remote server.
Delete the app at any time. All locally stored data is removed by iOS along with it. No retention, no backup on our side — because there is no "our side".
Swipecure is not directed at children under 13. No data is collected from anyone, regardless of age.
If anything ever changes, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top will be revised.
